Each date lists two prices: one for children and one for adults. Children under 3 go free. The ticket shop always has cheaper family combo tickets, and Frankfurt concerts offer a Frankfurt-Pass discount.

Line-up

The band changes from date to date. Who’s playing is listed with each date.

Arrive relaxed

Come ten minutes early, spread out your picnic blanket and settle in. Anyone who needs to step out can do so – no guilty conscience needed.

Frequently asked questions

My child can’t sit still. Is that a problem?

Quite the opposite: moving is welcome. You don’t have to keep anyone in line – just stay in your seat.

Isn’t it too childish for older siblings?

No. A real jazz band plays, with improvisation and solos – a level that teens and parents enjoy too.

What if my child is shy?

Watching is joining in, too. You can relax: most children warm up at their own pace.

How long does it last?

One hour. Long enough to switch off, short enough for a calm afternoon afterwards.

What do we need to bring?

Just a picnic blanket, if you like. We take care of the rest.

Do we need to know jazz?

No. Sit back – we explain everything along the way, with stories, not lessons.

Is it something for us as a couple, too?

Yes. One hour side by side, with no calendar and no coordinating – time for the two of you, right in the middle of family life.

For schools and festivals

Bring Jazz For Kids to you

A programme at a professional level that thrills children and lets parents unwind. We perform at schools with their own sound equipment, at festivals and for other organisers. Past venues include Campuskirche, Villa Gründergeist and Nord-Ost Gemeinde Bornheim.
